I developed my passion for caregiving by taking care of children, just like many of my colleagues. Over the past 25 years, I have looked after and loved many children, ranging from newborns to 10 years of age. However, one of my family members became seriously ill and required my assistance, which is why I moved to Humboldt.

 

While helping my family member, I realized that caregiving is all about compassion, trust, and patience. This is when I knew that being in the field of caregiving was my calling. I have always been told that I have a special gift for taking care of others, which is why I joined the Elite Caregiver Team in 2011.

 

At Elite Caregivers, I work with Laura and John in the administrative office. I also enjoy working with the care team as part of a team, and I love working with our clients. Laura and John Neely, who run Elite Caregivers, bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the communities that we serve. I enjoy every moment of my job.

 

Currently, I am a board member of the Loleta Community Chamber of Commerce. I enjoy volunteering and participating in all the community events organized by the chamber to help the community. I am also a member of the Fortuna Kiwanis Club, where I participate in community service projects and events, and volunteer to help the children and senior citizens of the community.  Recently, I became the business representative for the Loleta Chamber of Commerce in the Fortuna Kiwanis Club, which enables me to spread more love and help more people.
